Use the timer at your own risk
This website provides a timer, breathing guide, and local session history. It does not provide medical advice, assess your health, or determine a safe time in cold water. The default timer is a tool setting, not a recommendation.
Cold water exposure can trigger a sudden breathing and cardiovascular response and can lead to hypothermia. If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, are pregnant, or have another health concern, consult a doctor before cold exposure.
Never go into cold water alone. If you feel dizzy, have chest pain, have trouble breathing, feel confused, or feel otherwise unwell, get out of the water immediately. Seek urgent medical help if symptoms are severe or persist.
Using this tool and entering cold water are your decisions and risks. A timer reaching zero does not mean that staying in the water until then is safe.
